Ordinances Ready is a FamilySearch feature that helps eligible members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints find available temple ordinance opportunities. Instead of searching through generations of ancestors on your own, you can use this tool to help identify names for temple service.
And you don't need to be an experienced family historian to use it!
This month's invitation is simple: Open Ordinances Ready, choose an ordinance, and discover a family name you may be able to take to the temple.
You don't have to complete every ordinance or prepare an entire family line. Just learn how this helpful tool works and see what opportunities are available.

SIGN IN to FamilySearch
Open the FamilySearch Family Tree app on your phone or visit FamilySearch.org and sign in with your Church-linked account.
CHOOSE Ordinances Ready
Open Ordinances Ready and select the type of temple ordinance you would like to participate in.
GET Your QR Code
If FamilySearch finds an available ordinance opportunity, follow the instructions to prepare the name for your temple visit.
Did you know? Ordinances Ready can help you find available temple ordinance opportunities without having to search your entire family tree manually. The tool looks for eligible opportunities using FamilySearch's reservation system and may include names connected to your family or names shared for temple service.
You can choose an ordinance type and follow the instructions to prepare for your temple visit. This makes Ordinances Ready especially helpful for members who are new to family history or who want to participate in temple ordinances but don't currently have a name prepared.
Remember: You don't need to find dozens of ancestors or become an expert in genealogy.
